A small simple cup at the end of an empty table ...
Rays of the sun through a delicate budding leaf ...
The twinkle in the eye while telling something special ...
The magical touch of the slanting yellow rays ...
Colour of the sky during dusk ..
The surreal world on a reflective surface ...
And so much more... Its like I feel awed by this new world that my eyes have opened to. I had the same vision before, picking up the same images. But just the perception of my brain is different. What am I talking about. Well.. the way I see everything around me after I started viewing it through the camera.
Maybe this was a suppressed virtue that has surfaced. The eye for detail. Appreciating things as they are. Beauty of what is! Things in chaos or things orderly. Like the eyes sometime notices the details on a small ornament or the holistic view of symmetry that is caused by the coming together for all the smaller things into a big picture. This might sound a little too poetic but then, Its true. I appreciate the play on light on everything now. The slight twinkle in the eye at the catching of light, the scars on ones skin now means so much more, A swift moment of how something looks in reflection. Above all colours. The world of colours is just brilliant. Colour associated with the mood of things. The vibrant Red. The morose Blue. The Happy Teal. The chirpy Orange. The divine Yellow. The full of life Purple and the magnanimous Green.
The attempt of capturing a moment, a stillness in a blink of time has made me learn to use and decipher all that the eye picks up in a glace. Has thought me to see more than there is that meet the eye ;) A window to a whole new world ...

Pictures have become an outlet to my thoughts. An expression of what I am thinking. Moments of time so precious to me. Something next only to music. I might not shoot much with technicality in mind, its more of instincts. But I'm ok with that for now. A girl yesterday told me that she thinks I don't take pictures for the sake of taking them or keeping a hobby going but because they mean something to me. She made me smile.
Also if my pictures make one person smile, I think it was a picture well taken. Hope it makes you smile! :)
