Somehow I completely fucked up my lower back. I'm thinking it's from sitting at an awkward angle while working from home yesterday but it could also just be from carrying my gigantic boobs around, which are even bigger because I'm getting my period soon. Seriously, what the fuck is the genetic advantage of these things?! Ouch.
Leaving for India in less than two weeks now. Getting my visa wasn't as much of a hassle as I thought it would be, which takes some stress off. SR and I also have our Taj Mahal thing booked and a tour of Delhi the next day. Now we're trying to work out some side-trip to Kerala. There are backwater tours on houseboats where they feed you local cuisine so we're thinking of doing that for a night. But we'd have to fly there and we don't work the same shift so we'd have to go there later or leave there earlier, which just takes away the point of going at all. We had thought about going to Goa, but it's monsoon season so the beaches aren't open.
In preparation for Europe, I'm trying to learn some basic French and I'm doing kind of okay. I don't think I'll ever be fluent, but at least I can say 'does anyone here speak English?!' Ha.
Saw Up yesterday in 3-D and it was hilarious. I was thinking, ugh, kids' movie, but it's got stuff for adults too.
Playing Assassin's Creed right now and it's a very interesting take on the Crusades. Mainly I just like wandering around rooftops collecting flags because saving citizens and gathering information isn't as much fun. It requires so much patience to play this game though. So, so much patience. Because if you run, or even walk fast, guards will come after you. So you have to blend in by walking at roughly the speed of a snail. In molasses. In January. Unless you like getting chased and stabbed and shot at by random arrows and failing your objectives.
