so this whole economy thing is making me depressed. all of my investments are losing money big time and everyone everywhere seems to be in such a shitty mood all of the time. this morning i had cnn on and i was just so full of rage. i'm starting to think that anyone who voted for bush should get voted off the island.
in other news, my boss got promoted because his boss got promoted. so now i'll have a new boss. and that makes me kind of nervous. i get along so well with j. but he did reassure me that he wouldn't hire anyone radically different from him, so. we've also tentatively booked my trip to india for next year. they were telling me the estimated cost and i was like, whoa. glad i'm not paying for it!
i'm so behind on watching things and whatnot. work is eating my soul.
but i did go see religulous tonight. surprisingly, my dad was the one who wanted to see it. most of it was pretty hilarious. watching people trying to defend their beliefs in the face of someone who has evidence against every argument and won't back down is always entertaining. mom pointed out that maher was really turning the tables because (at least in our experience) we're the ones who get the 20 questions on how can we not believe in some dude in the sky.
and my subject line? an actual quote from a u.s. senator who doesn't believe in evolution.
