this week has been basically entourage and stress. guess which one i prefer?
anyway, had the second interview with the consulting company and purposely bombed it because i got notification like the day before that i was being considered for a management position at le current place of employment.
so on top of trying to make a project deadline, i had to go to interviews. thankfully, they were with people i'm already comfortable with except the hr recruiter, but she and i clicked immediately. j&j (two upper-levels) are very impressed with me and like my ideas for the team and really want me to be the manager. i guess there are other candidates (including e the annoying co-worker from what i've heard) but i'm pretty sure i've got it in the bag. i mean, people from other teams who i hardly ever work with were coming up to j&j to praise me and express support for my promotion. from what the exec j of j&j said, the ceo wants to talk to me?!?! i'm just going to pretend like she didn't say that for now so i don't have a heart attack.
since i've gotten an average of four hours of sleep this week, i crashed on the couch after dinner and slept straight through until 9:30am today. had do to some work from home, but that's done and i'm just trying to wind down. although i think i have some kind of sinus issue or something. whatever.
i really, really want to write some entourage slash but haven't had the time. fic accomplished!
