School has been going decently. I have a ton of reading to do (including finishing a book tonight with a synopsis of one page due tomorrow) but not a whole lot of assignments. Mostly essays. My apartment is nice, if not very decorated. My housemates are great people to be around. My San Jose friends have already come by for the most part and even have wanted to come more often (though I was unable to invite them this weekend).
My teachers are nice and very energetic. They are obviously very excited about the coursework and very knowledgable. I have cool TAs for section as well. Many new students in the literature field, too. I haven't met almost any of them, though... I'm awful at meeting people in class for some reason.
Gotta get out of this early quarter funk and have some fun. So far, it has been fun, but I've hit a snag and tripped on a bramble. Time to pick myself up, dust myself off, and make the most of the last year here.
What did you imagine yourself doing after college?
P.S. I've been watching Futurama with my housemates. It is a really good program. Why did I never watch it before?
