hug wounds
That was a really good weekend, even though there was a LOT of band stuff and it got a little bit stressful at times! AND I forgot to take pictures, AGAIN. :P
I am feeling really good and accomplished because I turned in my application for an SMT Internship already! Which is basically the same mission-trip thing with the Salvation Army except for just two people go and don't move around as much, in case you didn't know. :) The application is due January 17, but I've already gotten it endorsed and everything, and Captain Wood should be sending it out tomorrow. :) It is great, because I always hate my answers to the essays about 10 seconds after I write them, but if it's turned in so early I think that helps to make me seem sincerely interested, so I feel there's less pressure to have a spectacular essay. :) And Rachel said that one of the intern teams is going to Zimbabwe. Do I even have to say that that makes me really excited?!?!
I can't believe I got wounded from a hug! Glasses are dangerous - Rachel just gave me a hello hug, and somehow my glasses got smashed up against my face, and my nosepad scratched me! It's just a little cut, but it's right in the spot where a nosepad sits, which apparently is a very tender area on your body! Oh man.
