Stupid idiotic driver! My mom and I were driving up to State College this afternoon in the middle of a heavy downpour on I-80. I was purposely leaving a buffer zone between us and the tractor trailer in front due to the weather. An idiot in the right lane decided he'd take advantage of the small margin of space to change lanes, giving me almost no buffer between us and him, and likewise, him and the truck.
Seconds later, the traffic in front of us had to hit the brakes because a pickup truck, Office Depot truck, and a tractor trailer had some incident that completely blocked the right lane. Thank God everyone was able to stop safely. I was watching the rearview mirror and we were very close to being rear ended and that would have caused a chain reaction that would have completely brought I-80 to a halt.
