My last photoshoot before the end of the competition. I cannot WAIT to see Dave's. Can't wait till Friday- oh wait, yeah I can, I have to waitress 4 hours after school. OK, I'm not tempted. After seeing my friend and I emerge from the school woods, carrying my big-ass camera, and mounds of sparkly cloth and black cloth, myself dressed up a night-dress and crown, a girl in the year above (quite understandably) asked what we were doing and I told her about the competition, slightly sheepishly while Nikki laughed. The girl grinned, uncertainly, then said, "Aren't you a bit short to be a model?"
Clearing up after a shoot for Stolen Heads- you can see the remainder of my eerie white make-up. I'm really glad she didn't take a pic a few moments afterwards, when that jumper may have fallen even lower than it should.
Heehee!
My Mum and I messed around after doing the Nurse Wilson photograph.
OK, I thought this pose was really dull so I've scrapped this series of photos but at the time, it was quite funny. Those guys were being munchkins but I don't think many (if any) appear in Return to Oz, which was the theme.
This photo cracks me up. The camera was on a tripod on the other side of the pond and I had to run around to get into place and this time I just got ambushed by the plant.
Me at school, dumping my guitar today, before running off to do the photoshoot with the spectacular photographer Nikki Markides. But that's Charlie Campbell-Ryan so it's irrelevant but isn't Char so cool? My father would kill for that hair. I was a bit of a disappointment.
Dorothy singin' in a tree. As you can tell, my concentration was wearing :D
RIP Steve Irwin and the girl at our school, Sophie Eastwood. She was 14 and died of cancer. I was prefect of her form at school and she was a lovely kid from what I knew. Oh, Sophie, you should have seen them at the end of the assembly when they told us and the end of the funeral. You were loved so much.
I think, at my funeral, I want to surprise everyone and put on a movie themetune or something. Like "Paris Holds the Key to My Heart" from Anastacia or "Upendi" from Lion King 2, something daft that everyone will be able to hum along to and turn to each other and say, "Damn, what film is this from? It's on the tip of my tongue." Great day out for everyone. I hope everyone tells my jokes and gets out all the cheesy photos from school. It'd be nice to know I was missed but also a nice thought to be remembered. Sophie Eastwood's left a lot of people sad because she's gone.
