Publicity for 'Tis Pity has to be pretty damn forceful. I mean, basically every cast member is going to have to recruit 25 people each just to break even. So obviously publicity requires posters, postcards etc.... 250 POSTERS AND 10,000 POSTCARDS TO BE EXACT. And Alex has just been going round Oxford shops and doorways asking to put them up in windows. I am going to see a hideous picture of me throughout Summertown. *dies*
Comedy Revue rehearsal. I think Helen the director is getting frazzled poor person. And it's kinda disheartening that people who started out so keen and bouncy (people, I might add, I asked Helen to get onboard as a favour) have now lost interest and see it just as another commitment. This is supposed to be fun people! It's funny! Enjoy yourselves!
While there, Sue ('Tis Pity director 2) asked me to try on my wedding dress. Ahaha, it's not a full meringue but it's on its way. Lossa lace.
Just had v drifty conversation with the man. Both v tired I think- he's been rehearsing tonight, I just had lunch with a friend at Pizza Hut. Clearly equal hard work. But YAY get to see him tomorrow and we're going to see a play at the Playhouse (and watch the rugby but that's less glam) According to him, sex is the equivalent to a 4 mile run. I'll just leave that meditation with you.
Now I'm off to go and organise playscripts into boxfiles. AW YEAH.
