Yesterday I went to a free screening (held by some church) of The Passion of the Christ. I was hesitant to go at first, cuz you all know how I feel about these religious things, but Mali offerred some popcorn so I couldn't turn it down. Anyway, of course with all the controversy surrounding it, the movie was supposed to stir up all these emotions ( Read more... )

yeah i agree God should of condem them, but it is said that Jesus asked to fogive them. Which is why he died. He knew he was going to be betrayed, but Jesus loved his people nonetheless and in this Act of love for all, he asked God to spare them. In the times of Noah's ark there was no Jesus, convincing good ol God to kick back and give them a chance. I am not too sure about all of it. Its just something to believe in you know. I just take what I have learned and heard and take what I think is right and should believe in. I mean basically if you don't believe in Jesus and him being the son of God. I can totally understand how hard it is for us to understand that. Like in the scriptures & stuff, He was just this guy that tried to help and heal and show us how to love. It may just have been somebody we wish was real. Everyone just hates. It is kind of a default response for people to hate and have envy and jealousy. I thought it was a pretty decent movie. Unfortunately, Monica Bellucci didn't look too hot, but I guess it wouldn't be right for her to showing a bunch of cleavage...haha. However, she DID play a prostitute (Mary Magdalene, I believe was her name?), so I dunno. The good thing was that the movie wasn't all preachy and what not - it was just telling a story. And oh yeah, I'm thinking, if all these mass murderers can find religion in prison, repent, and go to heaven...well, I wouldn't want to be up there sharing a cloud with Charles Manson or Ted Bundy! Know what I mean?

god WOULD have smashed everyone up, but Jesus (not pronounced Hey-Zeus) asked GOD to forgive MANKIND because those bastards didn't realize what they were doing...
Those guys that fucked up Jesus don't represent me, nor do their sins of beating up the son of GOD represent my sin... so when someone tells me the Jesus died for my sins i tell them that Jesus died because of those other guys a couple thousand years ago..
Oh well... the movie isn't historically accurate anyway.. .everyone know's Jesus is black.

I should have worn my Jesus is my homeboy shirt to the movie. And smoked some weed before I went ("I don't get it.").
