things i would be doing instead of studying for my (last ever undergraduate!!!!) american-lit exam tomorrow morning:
ANYTHING.
i literally have zero desire to sit around reading modernist poetry about modernist poetry, i just want to bomb this exam and dive head-first into summertime fun! i'm giving myself a few weeks off once i move home to reorganize my life, relax, and get some grad-school applications ready in the event that my wait-list status does not come through - one year of actual hard, academic-work has left me burnt out and all anxious for the future.
it's beautiful outside, even at night-time, and i'm on my way to pick up my lastever paycheque from the paper tree. i hope it's a surprisingly lot of money to i can buy a lot of beer, coffees, get a haircut, pay my library fees and enjoy my last few days in the city! i am going to skip and pray all the way uptown that my next five days will be made extra-fun by the addition of MONEY.
i have lots more to say but want to be outside with the birds not stuck in the library next to the maps.
