"No one can find the rewind button girl, so cradle your head in your hands."
My goodness. I actually have some news, I think.
Brandyn and I went downtown on Friday night and had a bit to drink. It was WAY WAY WAY overcrowded and fucking hot because of that stupid rally. For those of you not from Texas, or even Austin for that matter: The first weekend of every June, there's a HUGE motorcycle rally with thousands of bikers from all over the state. So we're over-run with dirty old men and their 16 year old girlfriends for four days. --Anyway, it was insanely hot, even in places with blasting A.C. So it was kinda hard to have fun. But we did. He met a girl that he likes, but forgot to ask her for her phone number... (yea, I know, he's fuckin' retarded) And I got offered $100 to take off my top and bra. No, I didn't do it. But the guy literally pulled out a hundred dollar bill and said "It's right here. Are you sure?" I was ALMOST tempted. But not really. I wouldn't do somethin' like that. Brandyn told me I was an idiot. This guy named Ed asked me for my number and I gave it to him, and we were chatting a little bit and I asked him how old he was. 31! I kinda wished I had asked before I gave him my number. Because that's just... too big of a gap for my comfort.
I also ran into the guy that I was seeing. It was kinda awkward. Conversation went something like this:
Him: "You haven't called me."
Me: Because you're an asshole.
"Are you still mad?"
"Sure am."
"Why?"
"Because you're an asshole."
"I know."
"I need an apology to work on not being mad."
"Oh. I'm sorry."
"Oh. Okay. See ya later." /conversation
So yea... Awkward kinda. Anyway, Brandyn and I saw Madagascar on Saturday. It was super cute. I cried. (Yea, fuck off. I cry at all movies.) But I still liked it. Fun times. On Sunday, him, Eric, Josh, Chris and I went to eat at Baby A's. The boys made a mess and put chips in everyone's drinks. Fun times.
The news portion of today's entertainment: I might be moving. Brandyn and I are seriously thinking about going up to Brownwood to live. It would be at least a month if not more before we went. He's got a ton of things going on at work before he can take some time off so that we can drive up there and find jobs. There's also a vocational nursing school up there. So that's good for me. We'll see, I guess. I'm excited that we might get outta here and stop having to deal with everyone's crap so often.
'Tis all.
