so i'm rereading harry potter, finally. just finished chamber of secrets, and...
harry potter is an idiot. geez.
spends the series moaning about "ohhhhhhh but the sorting hat wanted to put me in slytherin" and "clearly there's something wrong with me because i'm supposed to be in slytherin" and "ANGST ANGST ANGSTY McANGSTPANTS."
when clearly, what happened was he put on the hat determined not to be in slytherin and the hat was like "dude, you sure? it's not completely terrible, yknow" and hes like "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO" and the hats like" aight boy, shut your whining, we'll stick you with the gryffindors."
