hello! i'm at notre dame i'm sitting here very skecthily in mary ann's room waiting for my father to come pick me up so we can go to the bookstore and then tailgate! mary ann is carolyn's bro's gf which most of u probably already know. she is so cool i'm like obsessed- carolyn now i understand why u love her so much and thanks so much for calling her for me!!
so so far this weekend has been very fun. i got to see the new performing arts center which is sooo amazing! i could live in there. its so funny being here with my dad, who graduated in like 1960, cause he keeps talking about how things were like when he was here and how much things have changed. i'm sure this is so cool for him, like a trip down memory lane. it reminds me so much of that gilmore girls episode where they go to the harvard yale game and the grandpa is all into it. thats my dad. he's shown me all his old hangouts, like the radio station,washington hall- the old theater- which looks just like the gonzaga theater, and we even visited his freshmen dorm room in Cavanaugh hall, which is all girls now and i think the girls were kinda skecthed out but it was cute. o and the most fun was last night when i went to the midnight drumline with mary ann and spazzed out to the drummers with all the crazy drunk people. and then this morning at like 4 am we were awoken by a guys dorm standing outside shouting "wake up welsh fam wake up" really loudly. but it was funny. ah college
so all in all. i really love notre dame. and i really think i could see myself here. its just like t he ultimate college experience. but i know that i shouldnt get my hopes up cause i know i prob wont get in, but at least, this weekend has gotten me excited for college itself. there's just so much to do, to get involved in, that i know i'll be happy where ever i go.
dad where are you? i've been waiting to go to the bookstore all weekend i really want a sweatshirt. and i want to get justin something. i'm thinking maybe a bobble head irish dude? or maybe a hat. i dunno something cute and fun to cheer him up a little.
well i hope everyone is having an awesome weekend. i'm not that excited to come back cause i know i have soooo much work to do. ah i'm so screwed i dont even want to think about it. well byebye
