i have just watched 'mulholland drive' again. it's been a while since i had previously, and while remembering i like the film, i'd forgotten quite how much! i continue not to understand the half of it... and/or to feel like i understand it on some level, but not a conscious one/one that i can articulate. understanding/not doesn't detract from my enjoyment in any way *grin* (possibly even enhances it!). i really like the cinematography, some of the characters, the acting style, the patterns and repetitions... *broad smile*
