accomodation needed - brentwood/thereabouts, essex - request for help
closely following on the heels of the cats' people, another 'accomodation needed' post...
scousecat and mymouse's moving isn't going quite according to plans *grimace*
the mutual friend's place they thought they had for the next however long, has (today) become a 'for the next couple of weeks', isn't quite ready, and even if they could move in over the next couple of days rather than today, it seems no space has actually been made for them and their stuff *unsmile*
we pooled our brains and essex-contacts earlier and came up with what appeared an ideal interim solution (friend with most family out of the country, plenty of space in house...) but ironically they've just sold their house and are in the country packing up their stuff. scousecat and mymouse can stay there this week coming, i believe, and i think can take their stuff there too... and the stuff's not necessarily a problem - i think they're going to take some of it to esther's parents, possibly put some in the loft here, and get the storage guys back to put some more into storage - but they're going to need to find somewhere to live. i think another friend/colleague is away the following week, and they can live in their space, but after that...?
it'd be really good if they could find somewhere they could settle for a couple of months, rather than having to move every week or two. but somewhere for a week or two would also be gratefully considered...
so, know anyone who's away for a few months and would like careful lodgers/house sitters?
know anyone who has a room or more spare and would like some friendly & tidy tenants short term?
know any/anywhere good to find private rents which don't involve being tied into a contract for 6 months minimum?
any/all of these would preferably be in south essex - both scousecat and mymouse work in and around brentwood currently.
as ever, money isn't boundless... *sigh*
