Okay, as said before, I was sorting through my friend's Magic cards for him, so he can sell them. Last night I came across an oddity: a card I couldn't identify, though I had my suspicions... Today I confirmed it! It was a Summer Magic Fireball.
(Summer Magic is the rarest of all Magic sets; I've been playing for over ten years and I've never seen one before! Basically they reprinted Revised with darker ink and a copyright date, like 4th Edition (except with a 1994 copyright instead of 1995), and they fixed some errors. At least that was the intention. In reality, they fixed one error (the art on Serendib Efreet) and left a few in, while adding a new one (the blue Hurricane). The set was sent out and then recalled and destroyed, but a few booster boxes made it out. It is estimated that there is about one playset (four copies) of each rare in existence.)
I have no idea what to recommend he try and sell this for on ebay... It's a semi-playable (as apposed to notoriously bad) common, but it's an ultra-rare semi-playable common...
