Cause we're running away
Hey everyone! Having a great sleeping in morning for myself before my last day of work until next Friday. Can I getta "woot woot"? Ahhh, so relieved to hear that come out of my mouth. I've been worked like a dog all weekend and weekday, so I'm sure a few days off wouldn't hurt anything. And I hope to get some field work and essays done. 'Hope' being the key word there.
Oh, and I'm planning on getting the car fixed up on Monday and Tuesday. Father said he'll flip the bill for a rental, because how the fuck else am I going to get to school from Spring Valley?? Bus? lol, you're funny. Brief note about Vegas, our mass transit system is a fucking joke.
Speaking of Vegas, I thought I'd share with you one of our precious treasures: This is the band Kid Meets Cougar. They're a small production in our city and are taking off the next few months to construct a new album and tour for the first time ever! i LOVE them. Every time they perform down town, I dance until I get stitches and soaked. This is their song, Hey Hey, which is filmed a few blocks away from where I went to High School. In fact, one side is bordered by Lewis Ave., which you'll see in the first few seconds of the video.
Oh, and that beautiful backdrop? Red Rock Canyon. It's wonderful to hike in the winter, because Vegas citizens are mostly from LA and they couldn't manage the cold to save their lives. So, without further delay. KMC!
