I was going to have my icon be a picture of fall, but then I realized it's not quite time for the air to crisp and the leaves to turn tricks. Therefore, in honor of my need love of my k-cup coffee machine, the icon labeled "Coffee." Today is a work day, and I don't think I could be less enthused. It was my first full week of classes and work

Last night I stared up at the Big Dipper standing outside my new apartment building, closed my eyes and willed away the brick middle school building in front of me. It turned into the familiar shadows of tall pine and the dim light coming from the windows of the Stone House in the near distance. I took a deep breath and was filled with a fresh

I would just like to start this post by saying that yesterday marked the first day of my last month as a twenty year old. Also, I am back in California as of this past Wednesday and it feels like I never left. If anything, it feels as if I blinked and suddenly a month of my time here was stolen out from under me. Today was the Progressive Fest in Petaluma, CA and I was tabling there from about 11:30 to 6:15. Luckily I was not on my own; Alana Steadman, a Spring '04 Woolman Alum, lives a block and a half from Walnut Park where the festival was taking place and kindly joined me for the venture. It was a very successful day, I feel. We met several students

I am currently sitting outside of Coffee Catz, a (duh) coffee shop located in downtown Sebastopol, CA. I'm here until 6pm (another forty minutes) because that is when Dave & Jenny Abramson, Ryan's cousins and the family I'm staying with for the week, will be home. I'm officially on my first solo outreach trip. I'm super nervous, but trying not to
