So many frangipani flowers dropped during the last few days of winds and rains here. I went around and picked a lot of them up the other morning and placed some in one of the birdbaths. At sundown the last rays of light caught a few and put them in the spotlight for one last bow before the curtain came down.
Pete wasn't paying any attention to the decadent decay taking place in the birdbath and when he saw it, thought it was just debris and cleaned it out. My sister and I had both been enjoying taking pictures there and would check it each day at least once. Fortunately (for Pete), 😉 we had taken a few other pictures before he did the clean-out. Here is my sister
egg_shell taking a picture when things were still pretty fresh.
This one flower that was becoming translucent is my favorite.
The time has flown by so quickly and she will be leaving on Wednesday. We have made each minute count. As is my fashion, to take in and process everything, sometimes for several days, I will do my writing and posting after she leaves.
