Lost & found ~~one more girl . . .

Aug 22, 2020 21:28

There were three mares I got pictures of in the fence that day Dave and I walked across 322. Here is the third one I'll call Girl with the Wavy Tail.

The bathroom redo is finally finished except for the floor. We are continuing on with cleaning and purging 55 years of our life. That is the hardest part of this renovation, but Laurie & Tracy are coming out on the weekends to help and Pete and I work on it during the week. We don't want to have a garage sale, so we're donating a lot of things to a really wonderful thrift shop that gives its proceeds to one of the local hospitals that has a welfare fund for indigent care and cases.

We started painting again and when we are done with that, we'll call the floor installers to come back to finish the other half of the house. My studio will be the last thing to clean and purge. That will be a job that only I can do by myself. I still want to keep my kiln, glass tools and some of my glass. I have some mosaics in mind that I'd like to make, and also some glass fusing. I have already given away lots of glass supplies to a local stained glass artist.

animal-horse, house projects, lost and found series, glass stuff
