wednesday . . .

Well, I sold the large iridized dragonfly the second day of the show. I was glad about that part, but it left a void in the display so things had to get rearranged. That's okay.

So last night I prepared more glass in the kiln--enough for three more dragons of that size. And today I'm experimenting with a couple of other iridized glasses, too. But I don't think anything can beat that black iridized baroque glass. I found I had four of the cast bodies on hand here, and then searched the web and found a place that still sells them, so I'm ordering more.

(to my two LJ friends who wanted to order one, I don't see any problem with that, and I'll be in touch after the end of June.)

So I'm cutting out glass today and hope to get at least one dragonfly soldered before my back gives out. I'm still taking lots of breaks, and when I take the next one I will post about the nearby eagles and their story.

Since it's hard for me to post without a picture, here's one I took the other day down at the pond. There are dozens of lotus in beautiful, full bloom right now.....this is their time to shine!
