Brrr. . .
it’s cold everywhere it seems and we are feeling it here, too, in Florida. A little too cold and windy to work outside repotting the orchids, but it is supposed to be 80 by the weekend. . . Perfect!
We put the electric blanket on the bed and last night it sure felt good. I stayed snuggled in all that warmth and softness in a cold room this morning until after 9 a.m. Great sleeping weather! If you remember, our house gets pretty cold inside in the winter months and it was 63 in our bedroom last night. We are hoping for another winter of not turning on the house heater….we like to dress warmer and tough it out. Our nighttime lows this week have been 35-40 with highs in the 50s, but a warming trend is on the way for us and just in time, too. We ordered new windows about a month ago and they are going to install them tomorrow.
