Well, the stand I made for the dragonflies on April 10th has been given the “deep six” and replaced by a new and improved one.
I got three cylinder-like pieces of Styrofoam that had been burned with a torch and made to look like actual wood. I glued them together and placed some Spanish moss, glass and leaves on in the appropriate places. It is more stable, I can display way more of the dragonflies than with the old one, and I can change them around and arrange them different ways because it is so easy to push the little brad nails into the Styrofoam instead of trying to pound them into the wood.
I went out to the gallery this morning and revamped my display area.
