Remember me?

Gosh, I haven't written in here much! I guess when you spend most of your time studying or trying to take a break from study, there's not much to say.

Today is Friday night.

Yesterday was the muck-up day, and the Year 12 final assembly. Our main mission of muck-up day was to capture Mr Kew and Mrs Lenord and tie them to the flag-pole. Then we ransomed them to the teachers for $40. We were collecting money for the cancer council, y'see. Boy, did we get Rohan and Pixie-Lady good. Mwhahahaa. Supersoakers and shaving cream. Pixie-Lady got really slippery and kept trying to get away! She wiped shaving cream all on me! But then we tied her up tighter to Rohan. That stopped THAT. ;)

The assembly went pretty good, I guess. Not the greatest ever, but the awards and on-stage wrestling match between Rohan and DK (Mr Jones... his nickname is DK cause he is all hairy like Donkey Kong) went down really well. :)

Mrs Gibbins baked us farewell muffins. We ran outside to everyone cheering. Then I spotted a door that opened from outside to the back of the stage, so I suggested we surprise everyone by appearing through the door and exiting again. So we did. Duane ran through three times! I was wearing high heels (I'd gotten dressed up in an old dress that Annabelle had brought to be silly) so I couldn't go so fast. I managed to jump off a metre drop in my heels and land perfectly, though! I'd make a great Bond girl. ;)

I had to work that afternoon, and my back was KILLING ME. I walked into the house after work, feeling sooooo bad and cranky with the world, and my whole family ran towards me! I was like 'uh?' They told me to go see what was in my room, and to tell them who it was from. There was a big bunch of flowers!!! It was from Todd and Sarah, wishing me luck in the exams and stuff. It cheered me right up, which was good... cause that was what they wanted to do! ;)

On Wednesday, jet planes from the army base a few hundred kilometres away kept flying over every 15 minutes. For the first time for ages, they were making me nervous. I don't know. I just don't see myself living in a world where there should be jet planes practicing to go off and fight... Eh. All the anthrax scares down here don't bother me at all. I don't see why anyone would post me any, and they've all been practical jokes so far. Even the annoucement that Australia was now the 4th biggest target for terrorism didn't get to me. Heck, there's three countries in front of us. I wonder who 2 and 3 are though. I reckon I can guess number one. ;p

Tonight Duane and I went to see Legally Blonde. Very amusing movie. Didn't require much thinking, just enjoyment!

Today, I also had my eyebrows waxed for the very first time. Waxing my lip and bikini line... no sweat. BUT OW OW OW! Eyebrows HURT!!! I went to Duane's straight afterwards, and my face was all red (it still is a little bit). I told him not to stare, I knew I was all red, and I asked him what he thought. Ten minutes later I told him how much it had hurt (this was after a long discussion on the redness) and he said "Oh! You got your eyebrows waxed!!" I attacked him with a towel. ;p ;)

Tomorrow is Jeremy's surprise party... after a morning and afternoon of study. Oy vey. :P I hope he is surprised! I didn't even start writing the rest of MindBender for him. Umm... Christmas? ;p
