"It's your birthamaday!" "Birthamaday!" "Birthamaday!" That is the conversation Seumas and I have been having over and over again since 10am Friday (not dissimilar to our normal repeated exchange, which goes "rar?" "rar!"). I think birthamaday is my new favourite word... for what it signifies and the fun way you can chirp it. Birthamaday! Birthamaday! Rar, birthamaday!
Anywho, the following photo sums up my birthday...
Order of the Stick Adventure Game
My idea of a good birthday...
So the players were the owner of the game,
Matt A,
lordlucless,
jeltzz, Mark, and myself. Matt won both games we played. I came second in the first and second-last in the second, but I was the one who defeated the 'big bad' in the second despite some back-stabbing so that wasn't a total loss. A pretty good day, despite the fact that at 23 years of age I had to go and have an afternoon nap to hold back a tiredness tantrum. ;p Anywho, game play took 12 hours with food breaks, so that was that!
Yesterday I did some minor chores before going to Newtown to see Seumas for an hour or so before we met up with others. Got to the place, and found out that Joel wasn't coming... and that I'd forgotten to send my boss the location so she wasn't coming either. Not sure how that will play on Monday... Anywho, the food was yummy and plentiful, and the sangria was potent. Becky organised a slice of birthday cheesecake which was the best cheesecake I've had in Sydney so Seumas and I polished it off on principle rather than hunger.
Then we went to karaoke, but unfortunately my work colleagues didn't get into it and left half-way through. I feel a bit bad that they paid for time they didn't use but oh well. After they left we really let loose (having people who won't sing kind of drags the whole tone down). It turns out that my boy does a fantastic rendition of Funky Cold Medina. Kellie and I attempted to sing 看我七十二变 as a duet. Andrew and Matt make a surprisingly good team. And Becky kept on nagging us to dance, which I joined in on after my work friends left.
And then Seumas drove Kellie and I home through lots of Saturday night traffic.
And now, presenting the Birthday Reindeer! And my workstation as well, I guess...
The Birthday Reindeer
A bit of a surprise first thing in the morning!
Meanwhile, I ♥ my boy. :)
