The search is over/ Moving again
After a lot of time jobhunting, I got a number of offers at just about the same time (some details are in private posts, I don't think it is clever to talk too much about current and future employers in public posts).
I just got back from visiting one of those companies, located north of Seattle, and after meeting people, and seeing what they are working on, I accepted their offer.
I spent the next day apartment hunting in the area, and assuming they like my credit and rental history, I have an apartment waiting for me on April 1st.
Right now I'm trying to figure out moving my stuff and car. Hopefully, I will head out at the end of the month. I'd have liked to have planned something for this weekend, but it seems short notice.
So... I'm thinking of calling "my last foreseeable dim-sum mob for a while" the weekend after this one (29th or 30th I'll try to post a poll in a day or two). I will also note that apart from dealing with moving stuff (I can not commit to those details until the apartment is confirmed), I do have free time, so people who want to take advantage of me still being near Boston before then should let me know, and social stuff can happen.
I'm feeling quite mixed. Its nice to finally get my career in gear with something neat, but moving away from the neat folk here, and nearbye and restarting my life (again) is not something I look forward to.
