The Rent dvd rant
Those bastards had the audacity to advertise their 3 hours of special features like it was something special. Three hours! are you kidding me? Ive watched more crap about the making of rent and the funny little rent blog videos than the stuff that was put on the dvd. And Chris Colombus drove me crazy during the commentary. He didnt know certain things that he should have known about the play. Please stop referring to yourself as a renthead. You obviously arent. And he tries to justify all these things he left out and its obvious to me that it was done for the PG 13 rating but he keeps boasting about how they were able to get away with a PG 13 rating. Fucking make it R. I want an unrated version.
BUt Adam and Anthony were super funny especially Adam in the commentary. Im sure the kids down my hall think im really weird because I was doing my loud obnoxious laugh a lot. OH well.
Oh man that little documentary was tres sad. I totally blew off doing homework before class to watch that whole thing. Skipped lunch too. I cried like three times. I really lost it when his best friend said he has AIDS (since like 1994ish) and I realized that he has been healthy for so long and that was really amazing. And all the stuff about Jonathon was tres sad as well.
So yea now im behind in my homework/studying again because I had to watch all millions of extras they were so generous to give us. Oh yeah and its Figure skating night. woot! Wish there were some sports bars around here for me to go watch it in.
