Remembering a friend...
I don't think it has been done before, but talking about the early days of LJ has brought back memories of a friend of mine who passed away in July of 2002, just days after her -) final post. (-
Her name is dawnmarie.
She was such a wonderful, energetic, outgoing and fun person to hang out with. I met her through LJ and later at Cons, and since the first day I met her, she changed my way of life and way of thinking in so many wonderful ways. In her quest to marry a Straight Crossdresser and to become a B-Movie star, she taught me that the amount of energy you put into something reflects on who you are as a person.
I met her parents (her mother, the infamous LJ gossip columnist gabbymoe) at her funeral and could clearly see where she got her outlook on life from.
So, in memory of a wonderful and beautiful person...dawnmarie I remember you and love you. Your friend vortex.
