the way is shut
I didn't write about Christmas. Oh well.
I got a light up a mirror so I can fix my face whenever I need to see it better. Which I can already tell you won't be often.
Also got four pairs of yoga pants. Never wearing real clothes again! I got two hoodies, too. Seriously. Never wearing real clothes again. Well except to a job interview, because, well, I'm thinking yoga pants and a hoodie and slippers aren't going to go over well.
Saw Sherlock Holmes and Ghost Protocol the other day. I enjoyed them both heartily. Tana, her husband and I went on our Christmas date. We had Chinese from the new Panda Express where I somehow managed to injure my ankle. Oh well. There was Sherlock Holmes things happening so I took Advil and soldiered on.
I think I'll probably go watch Girl With the Dragon Tattoo by myself sometime this week. No one else wants to see it. Tana hasn't finished the book, my sister isn't up for it. Eh. I like seeing movies alone. No big. There was one other thing I wanted to see, but I have forgotten.
My sister and I spent our New Year's Eve like we normally do: watching movies and eating ice cream. We watched Fright Night which we both enjoyed. It was just campy enough. And we watched Hot Fuzz as is per our tradition. Then the fireworks scared the dog and we cuddled up and then watched 30 Rock. You know, typical night.
Our Wii still doesn't work. It's not the box because we borrowed our other sister's, and it doesn't work either. So we need a new power cord, I guess. Balls.
I am currently finishing up Return of the King. We started our Lord of the Rings marathon a little early this year.
We are getting new across the hall neighbors. They have been moving steadily today. Our dog is going nutso at all the racket. The girl we met seems nice. I don't care whatever else they do, as long as they don't smoke in the breezeway.
Yesterday we went to mom's. And we were going to watch Cowboys and Aliens, but mom was fucking around with the sound and eh, I wasn't in the mood to watch it in her room anyway. Daddy has better surround sound. So we watched Captain America and I wanted to watch Thor, but it was too late to do so. I'm always outnumbered.
We made cookies and trash and then went home. Pretty nice day.
I think tomorrow we're going to the grocery store. Well when J gets home.
I'm going to watch Sherlock again and read a bunch of fic or a book or something or both, until she gets here. I don't plan on doing much tomorrow. I have like, 68 tabs open. I should really read through these things.
I think I'll organize them by fandom and then put some on my phone so I can read in bed like I like to do. In order to get that done, I should probably get off tumblr? Eh again.
I'll probably just read in order. :D I don't know why I'm procrastinating that. I'm very much in the mood for some Loki shenanigans.
