this is a most random update
My mom and nephew are decorating for Christmas. He has already decorated their house and now he's badgering my mother into decorating her house. He's gone a little Christmas Crazy. I'm not sure what's happening with him.
He's super cute though. Even if all I want to do is go home because Christmas makes me shudder.
Yesterday we went shopping for my sister and she got new bedroom furniture. It's gorgeous and she's now a grown up.
Oh gosh, you guys. I saw the Muppets movie on Saturday with Tana. I. Well it was a movie. I can't say I liked it. I ADORE Jason Segel, though. So much. And Ms. Piggy. I wanted to love the movie, but I couldn't. Also there wasn't enough of some of the supporting actors.
Friday night, it was my niece's ninth birthday. NINE UGH. Seriously she needs to stop growing.
Today I'm sitting at my mom's doing nothing because it's so cold out. The temperature keeps dropping and I'm not wearing enough socks for this.
What else?
OH. I went on a job interview. I'm not getting it because I'm overqualified, but hey, I went, wore great clothes, and made someone new love me.
We changed our dog's name to Mr. Bingley. I call him Bingles. It's much better than Andy and it's not like he knew his name anyway.
Oh, I read Drive. Have y'all read the book? I liked the movie and I'm glad I had it as a reference for how people should look in the book (except Carey Mulligan. they were definitely not going for respecting the book there.). I liked the book almost as much as I liked the movie. I read it in a day in a half, it was a short book and an easy read.
I am currently reading The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo and Mindy Kaling's book.
Last night on the way home, Mama and I saw a really bad wreck at the end of their road. The truck was upside down and wrapped around a pole. It had knocked out the electricity down the entire road. I woke up about three AM and the tv and lights were all on. I don't know when it came back on and I haven't heard anything at all about the person driving. Maybe the news website will update soon.
Since it was dark and cold, I couldn't sleep and I stayed up reading The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo.
I had really weird dreams.
