I have been everywhere but in the bed recently. My dad had eye surgery. His last visit is tomorrow. He should be fine. Mema had another stroke. It wasn't a mini-stroke but it wasn't enough for hospitalization. But now she doesn't know her own name or my nephew or my sister.
It's starting to show on everybody how much has happened.
Daddy also finished his chemo and he's cancer free and should be fine from here on out. He needs to go back to work and quit spending money and bossing everyone (me) around.
J and I got a dog. There are (will be) pictures around here somewhere. He's a dachshund. He's adorable. We've had him for a week now. Tonight, J gave him a bath. It was hilarious in the way bathing dogs usually is.
Sunday night, our other sister forced us to watch the Twilight movie. omg. She had made me watch the second one on tv and then was all LET'S GO SEE THE NEW ONE YAY CALL JAMIE THIS WILL BE GREAT LOL.
Spoiler alert: It was not great.
And why is it two movies? There's no point in that. S said it was the most people in a movie theatre she'd ever seen. I laughed at her. I saw three Harry Potters and two of the Lord of the Rings opening weekend.
Also, there was an inordinate amount of young children there. Like, this one lady had a two year old and a baby and what was probably a five year old and her husband and they were up and down, spilling popcorn, crying. That lady should have waited for dvd or convinced her husband he wanted to take the kids and watch Happy Feet 2.
We also saw Immortals weekend before last with Tana. It was okay? I'm still not sure what was happening there or why that was a story.
I've got tomorrow off. I plan on cuddling the dog, watching Friday Night Lights (I'm almost finished with the first season), and read. I have to wash clothes and pack two bags: one for my sister's and one for Kevin and Angela's. I'm leaving on Thursday for their house and more food. Yay homemade pies and stuff.
Right now, it's raining, I'm waiting for the
startrekbigbang that I mixed for to be posted, and then I'm sleeping for lots of hours straight.
