Can you take vitamins? B12 deficiency can cause tingling/pain type problems (general neuro issues; tingling especially is common with B12 dificiency) and I think the Lenten fast cuts out pretty much all of the ways humans usually get their B12 intake. B12, also, can be definitely associated with anemia (which could relate to things like bruising).
Wow, when you mentioned this I did some googling, and I think that's what is going on. I don't have vitamins, but I just checked the soy milk that I bought yesterday, and it does have B12. So I'm going to see if that helps.
I am getting enough salt. I don't actually eat that much processed foods in the first place, what with my cooking being better. Except for chips. Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm, chips.
My potassium intake is pretty good, and I am eating plenty of carbs. I think the issue may be B12 deficiency, which prydera pointed out. So soy milk could be the answer to my issues.

I think I'm going to try the soy milk thing. Or maybe just regular milk. Man, I miss milk.
