Still a John Vooijs fangirl...

I promise I'll talk about something else again - eventually... ^^

But! I found out John Vooijs will be in a theatre play next week! Well, it's only a staged reading, not a proper theatre performance, but still awesome, right? :-D They're doing "The Normal Heart" by Larry Kramer - a play about the onset of AIDS in the 80s. I have actually heard about this play before (haven't read / seen it, though) and it's won quite some awards so I'm very excited! :-) I expect the play to be rather heavy and sad, but I do like thought provoking plays and plays that show us glimpses into human behaviour under extreme stress and I'm expecting both of this, too. I'll let you know my thoughts.

I did find out about that play only after buying a ticket to see John's final show at Tarzan - which will be the day after the play... Now, I feel like like a creepy stalker fangirl for going to see him two days in a row. But ... at least I'll be a happy creepy stalker fangirl???

On other news, I'm showing Sherlock to some of my friends who don't know the series yet at the moment. I haven't told them to expect cliffhangers at the end of each series, so the pool scene took them quite by surprise. Hehe. XD

And the Flash Fiction Contest over at PodCastle is still running, too. My second story hasn't been posted yet, though. I'll keep you informed on how it goes. :-)
