Sunday was a day of socializing. I had a meeting with my Clemson women's group after church. I didn't make it to church because of staying up too late Friday and Saturday. Eldred and I threw our schedule off. I am a night owl, so it was easy for me to slip into that. Anyway, I headed to the meeting and had a good time gabbing and doing crafts. I came home, ate an apple and some almond butter, then headed to Greenville with Eldred.
The canton social activity this month was bowling. About 10 folks showed up. I had a great time. I was thrilled that the place is non-smoking. I want to go back again. I used to enjoy the bowling league when I lived in NY many moons ago. The only thing I didn't like was all the smoke. Now that's gone. Yay! By the third game I was finally getting the hang of it. I had under 100 in the first and managed to barely break 100 in the second. I had 130 after 9 frames in the 3rd game, but the time ran out. Too bad because I had strikes in the 8th and 9th frames, so it had the potential to be a good game.
We at dinner at Brixx afterwards. I violated the diet by having a chicken club. The sandwich insides were good for me; it's just the foccacia that was a no-no. It was yummy though! And I had bean salad as a side, so I did well there. It doesn't seem to have adversely affected my weight, so it was an okay splurge.
I am thrilled by Eldred's decluttering frenzy. The office is usable and comfortable! Woo-hoo! Now I just need to motivate myself to go through boxes. Thanks to
victoriapringle for suggesting a yard sale. It got us starting on this spring cleaning!
I finally got back to the gym today after almost a week. I seem to be hitting it about once a week instead of twice. I hope to go Thursday and Sunday to get back on schedule. I enjoyed the workout and feel good.
