Long Weekend

I had 3 days off in a row without going out of town. What a treat!

Eldred and I put insulation on some of the cold water pipes under the house. We ran out of insulation, so we didn't finish the job. At least now all the hot water pipes (except and small section) and about have the cold water pipes are done.

We watched lots of TV (even without cable) - Monarch of the Glen, Dresden Files, Poirot.

Sunday the weather was iffy, starting out with sleet that quickly went away. I decided to postpone the trip to church until Monday. I so rarely get two days at home with Eldred. When I go to church, I am typically gone 5-7 hours. We had a nice relaxing Sunday at home. I sorted out some files, thus making more headway in reducing clutter. I recycled a bunch of paper and brought a bunch in to work to chop into routing slips.

Monday I spent most of the day at church catching up on some Treasurer things I had been putting off. I am now pretty much caught up.

I am co-leading the FOG meeting this Thursday so I will be working on that tonight and tomorrow.

We have been asked by IT not to watch streaming video on the computers at work because of concerns about bandwidth. The library is showing inauguration coverage on TVs in the meeting rooms, so I'll pop down there lunch at 1:30.
