Feeding Frenzy
Today was our department Holiday Party. I made some candies. They are sort of like vanilla-flavored white chocolate in various colors. I picked up molds and wafers at AC Moore and stayed up way too late making them. I think they came out nicely though.
As I was helped M decorate I realized once again how much being in the SCA has changed my perception about parties and food tables. I keep trying to get rid of plastic containers. :-)Fortunately, M has the same attitude, so she hunted down better containers for a lot of the stuff. I also have a developed a better eye for decorating since being in the SCA.
Eldred let me get one thing out of my stocking. It was a pack of reindeer duckies, including Rudolph. I already had Santa. Heh! I took them to work and put them on the shelf in my cube.
