I was such a slacker yesterday. If I had not been so far ahead, I would be behind after my poor showing. I need to get it back in gear!
Advice - One editor mentioned that she knew a writer was a professional when the writer included scent in the novel. We are often spoiled by TV and movies, which can deliver only sight and sound as part of the sensory experience. Novels, by contrast, can include so much more than what can be seen and heard. Take advantage of the medium by including those things that can not be seen on TV.
