So I bought a replacement chair off Craigslist after my old one broke in half, likely from years of leaning back too far in it. This one doesn't bend the same way but that probably just means it wasn't good for my spine to be doing so in the first place. I've also discovered that the Personals section of Craigslist is a great place to check for laughs.
Got hungry tonight and made some pancakes. Figure I should probably try to at least pretend and cook things now that I live by myself, instead of sticking to pizza/cereal/frozen food. Work has been pretty frustrating lately; I'd complain about it more on here but now that I'm in an authority position I suppose I should stay mildly professional and not vent about specific problems and people. I do like the hours and most of the crew, there's just a lot of stuff to deal with that I never thought about.
Gonna go see a movie tonight. And am I the only one upset that stores have immediately flipped over to Christmas? I mean, I like it as much as the next person, but it kind of dilutes it when you stretch it out for an entire two months. Plus I'm not really feeling it yet; it was actually really nice weather today (and I mean what most people consider nice, which is usually too warm for me...I like a decent breeze).
