"Don't you think you've got a bit of a saving-people thing?" - Hermione, Order of the Phoenix
"The most difficult thing is the decision to act, the rest is merely tenacity. The fears are paper tigers. You can do anything you decide to do." - Amelia Earhart
Went out with friends earlier in the week. Work is a bit stressful since Matt's on vacation and there's only three of us to cover all the shifts, but I have Saturday off to go to my grandparents' 50th wedding anniversary in Chicago and interact with a lot of relatives I don't know.
Interesting things I've learned tonight include NASA's plans to smash an expensive craft into the moon for research purposes and presumably the endorphine release that accompanies building a detailed Lego model and swinging it by a rope into the side of your brother's dresser to watch it shatter into its constituent elements. Also Webber has announced "Love Never Dies," the sequel to Phantom to be set in Coney Island. I'm undecided on the likelihood of that being any good.
Had to turn the heat on today. October just hit. I think winter might be ok this year.
