So Mom and Bill stopped by yesterday after Neil's frat induction (never saw him as a frat guy either, guess we'll see how that works out). Apparently they'd assumed I was skipping Laura and Abe's wedding in March (in D.C.), and Beth is pretty adamant that I not. Possibly Steven can split the driving with me, but that's still gonna suck. My record so far is 3 hours, from here to Cinci a few times and from the cottage to Indy.
Had a good time last week at the work party, consisting of the traditional bowling and then afterparty drinking and playing pool at Al's house. My friends are in short supply these days, so it's nice to go out once in a while and actually interact with people.
