Blacker than Dark

[ Anyone with clairvoyant or psychic powers who happens to wander into the area beside building six will notice their skills suddenly melt away. It was like walking into a dead zone where all perceptions were blocked entirely and everyone they met was completely, dark, unreadable. Stepping back out the way they had come, even a few feet, is enough to free themselves and restore their psychic powers. ]
I had thought I would take a little walk today, just to see if I couldn‘t familiarize myself with the City again, but some how I found my way here.
[ An innocent looking city street, but remembered by Eagle as the location of two murders he committed. This was one of the few City places that was actually recognizable to him since the memories of those horrible acts had been left intact.
Even if those people were alive and well again it was still painful to know he had been the reason for their suffering. Worse, with only the memories of those murders left every quiet moment could be filled with replays of those events. Memories so disgusting that he wished to block them from everyone else and on this strange sunless magical day he had gained the power to do just that. ]
I suppose I should be grateful that anything is recognizable at all.
[ Eagle pauses to look up at the sky. ]
Has anyone been able to figure out what kind of curse has made the sky so dark today? It must have something to do with this strange feeling I have? I feel almost like I could block everything out.
[ He has no idea that he is essentially doing just that to psychics in his limited field of influence. ]
Does anyone else feel some how… more powerful?

Lantis? I do remember that I said once you were recovered enough to go looking we could find a pet. I saw a few things you might be interesting in.
This cute animal is supposed to be a cat.

They both looked very sweet and are supposed to be very common kinds of pets here. Do you think you would like a pet like these?
[ OOC: I randomly picked a superpower from the Super Power wiki, so Eagle ended up with Psychic Shadow power today. If your character isn’t a psychic but does have magic powers it could effect magic users a bit too if you want it to. Just enough to feel there is something strange going on.
