[Eagle spoke to himself as he busied himself in the kitchen of the small apartment. He leafed through the box of tea bags looking for a variety that would fit his earlier description before finally settling on a packet of lavender tea and putting the other flavors away for some other day.
Eagle startled a little when the teapot he went for was heavier than he was expecting. It was even more of a astonishment to discover the container was already filled with water. ]

[The liquid in the tea pot rippled taking a familiar form. ]

[As the illusions mouthed words too soft to be heard by the recording device Eagle‘s hands trembled unsteadily until with a violent clatter the teapot escaped his grasp and tumbled roughly into the sink.]

Since the characters can’t see the text these colors can manifest themselves in Eagle‘s environment, gray objects suddenly gaining a color, or maybe Eagle himself changing colors, his aura, eyes or clothing.
