[Trying to fill out one of those mandatory forms those with businesses to run are unfortunately very familiar with Eagle was disgusted to find himself writing an ‘L’ instead of the ‘m’ he had been trying for. This was ridiculous! Granted he hadn’t seen Lantis all day, he was already gone when Eagle had left to open the candy shop, but that shouldn’t have been an issue. Surely he could go a few hours without seeing him?
Eagle tried to look back at the paperwork, to force himself to focus on it, but it was no use.
He stood from the desk in the back of the shoppe and made his way to the counter. Maybe working with some customers would be a better distraction. But, it didn‘t work. Thoughts like, ‘Maybe I could call him’ and ‘I wonder what he is doing right now’ made it nearly impossible to even count out the proper change.]
Why don’t you give it up, boss? [The friendly voice of the older man Eagle had hired to make the candy for the shoppe. ] Just go home and see the guy?
[Eagle’s back was to the fellow so he didn’t notice that he had turned a camera on to capture this moment of his usually focused boss being so love struck distracted. Eagle answered without turning around to see what was going on. ]
