I am an aunt!!
That's right, I've got a little nephew named Danny and he is by far the most beautiful kid i've ever seen. And I don't say that b/c I am family.
I definitely saw some pretty ugly babies at the hospital haha. My sister says he was the nurses' favorite b/c he was so cute and so good. When I first saw him I like cried uncontrollably. I never think I will cry in those situations, but I never fail to. Even at my sister's wedding- thank god I had the tear-proof makeup b/c I cried through the ceremony from start to finish. It makes me feel melodramatic but I know I am just affected by big turning points like that with someone who is so close to me and who i have known my whole life.
Anyway, I am just so happy that i was able to get home this weekend to see him because I know babies grow so fast...I mean by the time I get home from college for summer he'll be over a month...by the time I move home he will be like 9 months old. It was just nice to be there.
Time to study. And by the way it is like really nice out. It might be almost 70 today. Just reminds me of how much I can't wait for summer!!!
