First Week of Classes

Aug 29, 2004 18:38

Well, my first full week of classes went well. My calculus class is taught by a graduate, exchange student who is rather hard to understand but she seems really nice and doesn't mind repeating herself. Organic chem is going to be a bunch of work but it is going to be fun with Molly and Katie both being in it. He assigns a ton of homework but doens't collect it so really it is just having the motivation to do it in a timely matter. Ugh. Economics is taught by this really cool professor who is from Egypt. He's really nice and seems to know his stuff, too bad I know nothing about the economy. I hope he changes that. My French class is going to be a lot of work too but it seems like it will be a good class. One of the people from my French class last semester is in it, Vedrana, and she's really nice so maybe we'll study together. Religion is interesting. Katie's boyfriend is taking a class at a nearby community college about Eastern civilizations and his textbook is written by my religion professor so I must admit that's pretty cool. Band is band and should be a pretty fun semester. The only other euphonium player is actually a clarinet player who wanted to try euph for a semester. She, Meredith, seems super sweet and really not bad at all on euph. So yea for people wanting to play the greatest instrument of all time!

I got back from a Lambda Sigma (honor's society) meeting early so I am going to take this time to finish cleaning my room before Molly gets here and then do some religion reading.

Aside from missing my friends a ton... things are going well. I don't think I am going to be on AIM as much as I have been so... as always, please feel free to call my cell phone or e-mail me.
