Summary: Han doubts everything Luke and Leia are telling him, but they just might be his way out of his mess with Jabba.
Han doubted that taking these two, Luke and Leia Naberrie as they called themselves, on would result in anything but trouble for him, and the last thing he needed was more trouble, but the price they were offering…well he would be a bigger fool to turn them down. Jabba was after him more and more every day, and if they somehow managed to pay him up, he would be free, and he would never royally screw up like that again.
Despite his doubts, maybe they would. They looked like nothing more than a pair of dusty kids looking to leave Tatooine behind and make it big somewhere like Corsucant, but appearances could be deceiving, and they weren’t do all that good at deceiving. Luke was better at it, playing the innocent kid like a pro, but Leia acted a bit too jaded and a bit too worldly to be some backwater kid. But Han hadn’t made it this far by asking questions.
He’d take them to Alderaan and get as much money out of them as possible, and never think of them again.
Unless they paid them all they were claiming to, then he might wish them a little luck in finding their Uncle Ben.
