I finished step 2 of hiring process; the test…now comes the unfortunate pass/fail. I studied hard for this test because it represented a possible future. After rethinking some of the questions, I don’t think I did so well.
I have been looking over the TV shows I enjoy and more than a few are on NBC/Universal stations.
Chuck is coming back for a fourth season; though, I don’t think the series will last any longer due to ratings. As silly as it sounds,
The Marriage Ref was hilarious not for the celebrity panelist but the couples who bicker about serious and bizarre things, making for better appreciation of the single life.
Eureka is a mix of the
Andy Griffith Show and science gone mad.
Burn Notice and
Royal Pains had their season premieres and were awesome.
Stargate Universe reminds me of
Stagecoach crossed paths with
Battlestar Galactica.
The new season of
Doctor Who, with companion cutie Amy Pond, has been good. I think it all has to do with series producer Steven Moffat. My favorite Doctor Who episodes were written by him; “
Blink” & “
The Empty Child/
The Doctor Dances.” I still like watching
UFC pay per views; but, I’m getting a little bored, too many PPV a year and too many fighters getting injured.
Legend of the Seeker looks like it is not coming back for another season. I liked this show even though I hear it doesn’t follow The Sword of Truth books to the letter. It had beautiful scenery with very strong female characters. I get now why my sister liked watching
Xena: Warrior Princess &
Hercules: The Legendary Journeys, all those years ago.
Smallville was excellent this last season. A much underrated show if no one has seen it.
Mad Men is a great take of the ‘60s which also mentions pivotal events which changed American culture. I like
The Tudors for its European history. Though, it shouldn’t hold claim to much historical accuracy.
The Pacific storytelling was different from
Band of Brothers, but kept me interested week in and week out.
Bleach anime has finally gotten back on track with the manga.
Naruto is going to be good for at least the Naruto Returns, The Seal Destroyed, and The Cheering Village arcs-Sage Naruto using Rasen-Shuriken-I bet afterward there will be filler-arcs before The Gokage Summit Commences arc.
