one of the lucky days.
So another year older and theoretically wiser. Today was a completely amazing day. the kittens woke me up way too early for my training course at work but oh well. Made a nice breakfast, relaxed while I dined then off to work.
training wasn't too bad; got to see our favorite trainer. Picked up some gear for Ingress from another player. the day was beautiful, traffic was light (amazing down here). got home stripped more of that damned adhesive from my floors. I have found the new wonder product and yeah i plan on buying more. 30 min per segment and it all scrapes up with ease. Why i did not try this earlier is beyond me. (actually i know why, i was leery of using it. nuff said)
in between scrapings, dishes got done, a new code chart for the Lodge's rooms has been made (they re-coded the rooms so its not as easy as it once was to figure out what you're selling). Just got done making dinner and now i'm chilling in my living room with the kittens in their respective cuddle spots writing this journal entry.
I have not had many days where I've felt so productive and yet not weighed down by the list of shit that needs done around the house. I know i'll get to it all in time but its just that I've got to have the time to do this stuff. If wishes were airplanes I'd wish that I could be a full time Author and work from home so i could just tinker with stuff all the time in between writing pure literary awesome. but alas it is not in the cards just yet.
Oh did i mention its February and I've got my windows open in my house.... its the first I've experienced that I can go barefoot or at least in sandals and in a sun dress during my birth month. normally its a month of bitter cold.
tomorrow I've got work par normal. then after that its working an extra 1/2 shift every day to load in the reservations for the next 3 hotels. FUN! just give me music and leave me alone I'll rock this out. thankfully i'm not the only one who is entering the information.
I'm debating going upstairs and watching a movie. not sure yet. I do need to look into getting a couch. this futon is so not cutting it as a comfortable sitting apparatus.
