It's been so long...
It has been like two weeks since I have updated. These past couple of weeks have been a whirlwind. Campus Sing has consumed my life, with two hour practices every night. My homework has fallen to the wayside, but I wouldn't trade the time I have been spending with my sisters for anything. While I may have bitched, been bitched at, and gotten upset at times, I had an overall fantastic experience and, when was all said and done, we kicked major ass and looked really hot doing it. We should have won the competition, but we know we were the winners in our hearts.
When I wasn't dancing this past weekend, it was full of randomness and fun times. Thursday night was Campus Sing practice, then out with Liz and Casi to Lynagh's Pub were they had a much needed beer. However, the best part of the evening was our desperate need for cheese sticks. Because it was 1 am, carryout for any place was closed. We went to Papa John's and banged on the window. When the worker came outside, Casi, per my request, asked "Can you deliver to your parking lot?" They aren't suppose to, but they did. We are forever in debt to the Papa John's people. Friday night involved a much nap, then off to Mellow Mushroom for some fabulously funky pizza, then Target and then McCarthy's for a very low key night. Saturday night we went to Applebee's to watch the UofL game, then out to McCarthy's where Mama, Mammaw, and Auntie E all made an appearance. It was wild. Amy, Sarah, and Jen were all there as well, which was fabulous. It was a crazy weekend to cut some of the stress and craziness we had been under because of school, AOII stuff, and Campus Sing.
Tomorrow is Red Rose and am so excited about it. It was a special night and I hope that everybody will have a great night.
